Tuesday, I went to the Mom & Me breastfeeding support group offered through Northside. The lactation consultant I met with last week is the person who leads it, and there were about 20 moms there with their babies. The group is specifically for babies from newborns through 6 months old, but there were a couple who were a little older.
It was a great opportunity to meet people exactly like me who are having the exact same challenges, and to meet some who had babies a little older and could answer questions or share experiences about when they went through the same thing.
Emily was extremely well behaved, and even met a couple of potential future boyfriends :). The group meets twice a month, and we'll definitely plan on going back!
