Moving Day

After a few crazy weeks, moving day arrived. We were a little nervous about the drive to Charlotte since Gracie, Bella and Emily have all been known to hate car trips. Gracie and Bella rode in the back seat of Mick's truck, and Emily took her usual spot in the carseat.

As you can see, it was a very traumatic trip for her--she slept for over 3 HOURS! We finally pulled over at a rest stop because it had been a long time since she had eaten, and we wanted to feed her before we met our landlords and picked up our keys.

Gracie and Bella needed to stretch their legs too, so Mick took them out and let them run around a little.

We got to Charlotte and met the landlords at 5:30 PM, picked up keys and unpacked the car and truck. We camped out in the living room floor, and the movers will be here in the morning to deliver our stuff!
