Zachary's birthday party was at a place called Mighty Jumps--it was a building full of inflatable jumping houses and slides with party rooms at the back. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun--Emily was a little young to get in, even to the toddler area, since most of the kids seemed to be at least two or three. Her grandma had other ideas though, and insisted on putting her in for a few minutes.

Road Trip
We took a trip down to Atlanta this weekend for our nephew Zachary's birthday party (hard to believe he's already 5!). We left Saturday morning and stopped for breakfast at Chick-fil-A. Admittedly, not the healthiest breakfast, but we wanted somewhere clean and quick, where we could let Emily eat too.
She just loves sitting up at the table like a big girl!
She looked around and made friends more than she actually ate, but she had some of a biscuit, a tiny bit of chicken, some fruit and Cheerios. We checked into the hotel around noon, and had a welcome note and a balloon in the room. Emily has decided she's a huge fan of balloons--I didn't get any pictures of her with it, but you can certainly tell how excited she was in this video.

She wasn't sure what to think of the carousel horse!
After Zachary's party, Emily and I went over to another friend's first birthday party--I used to work with Tricia, and her daughter Natalie and I became "blog buddies" because we were pregnant at the same time. She was a couple of months ahead of me, and it's been fun to continue following her blog over the past year. Sarah Graves turned one on Friday and had her party on Saturday too. We stopped by for a little while, and I don't know why I didn't think to take my camera out and take any pictures. It was great to see them though, and it was a good opportunity to steal some cute ideas for Emily's 1st birthday party!
