She had really outgrown the infant seat, but technically could still use it because she is still under 22 lbs.
A far cry from that little peanut we brought home from the hospital!
Her legs are long enough that she really had to scrunch them up when we put the convertible seat in the rear-facing position, so even though the recommendation is to leave a child rear-facing as long as possible, we went ahead and switched her.
She does seem a lot happier and more content facing forward--I have a little clip on mirror so I can see her well, and she likes to play peek-a-boo in the mirror when she thinks I'm looking at her.
