Hair Styling

I've been frustrated with Em's hair lately--she loves her bows, but her hair is so thick and long in the front that it won't stay back out of her eyes, and it looks like a mop by the end of the day when I pick her up from school.

Yesterday, I decided I needed to try something different, so I put little ponytails in her hair while Mick was reading a story and she was eating oatmeal.

She loved them, and was very proud to show them off at school according to her teachers, so we did ponytails again today. She patted them and said "thank you Mommy!" She was glad to smile for me when I asked her for a picture.

Love this girl!
