Disney on Ice!

Several months ago, we had the opportunity to buy advance tickets to Disney on Ice, so we snagged front row seats!  Em (and I) have been looking forward to it ever since, and the show was October 2 in Charlotte.  She rarely wants to sit in the seat reserved for her--she has a better view in one of our laps.
The show was called "Celebrations," and it celebrated all the different holidays, starting with Alice and Wonderland and a Merry Unbirthday.
Em was totally mesmerized every time she saw a new character--and there were a lot to see :).
I was surprised to see the Sorcerer's Apprentice because I'm not sure how many kids today actually know that story, but it was a neat show with the dancing brooms that glowed in the dark.
One of Em's favorites was the Halloween celebration with all of the villains from different stories, including Captain Hook!
All of the princesses were there with their princes!  Aladdin and Jasmine,
 Belle and her prince,
Cinderella and hers,
and Snow White with hers.  Funny how we never know the names of most of the princes in the older Disney stories.
A rarity--a picture of all three of us during intermission!
There was a Hawaiian luau and a Chinese New Year celebration.
And of course, a big Christmas finale.
The toys from Toy Story came out, which Em was thrilled to see!
And everyone came out at the end again.  Funny with all these characters, Em noticed that Peter Pan was missing!  It was funny that Captain Hook and Tinkerbell were both there, but not Peter.  We decided that maybe he was sick that day.
